The real Truth to Successful Selling Online

Yesterday I said I would reveal the magic formula for online success. Although in my first blog I mentioned to do affiliate marketing you do not need a website, which is true, you need to understand to be effective over time and have a sustainable business online, especially in today's market, you need to have your own website. And not just any website, you need to have a website with professionally written content and here is where a lot of people run aground because they try to do it all themselves. Know your weaknesses and play to your strength and then leverage other people's knowledge in other words use "Outsourcing" for the rest. You don't think people who run very successful online businesses do it all themselves? Of course not. You simply could not keep up with day to day business demands. The magic formula is simply this:

  • Build a website
  • Have professionally written content
  • Have a product
  • Drive Traffic
  • Build a list
  • Generate Income

The important thing to understand especially for beginners, is the exact steps to follow to maximize your online sales in today's market.

  • Get a Product or Create a Product
  • Obtain Web hosting and a domain name
  • Create Professional written content for your website
  • Create a squeeze page
  • Drive Traffic to your squeeze page to build a list
  • Offer an incentive to get people to sign up with you, it can be a free report or ebook, but it should be a quality incentive
  • Develop a relationship with subscribers on your list over time, do not make the mistake of trying to sell or promote to them immediately.
  • As you build your relationship with your subscribers, work at determining the exact needs of the subscribers on your list
  • Then create products that meet those needs of your subscribers

Over time develop a relationship-based sales system for marketing your products to your subscribers.

This is the way to long term success.
